A. Shama Rao Nursing School is a part of A. Shama Rao Foundation, established in the year 2003 and started functioning with 38 students, creating a benchmark for nursing profession in Mangalore.  Now with the completion of 3 ½ successful years, A. Shama Rao Nursing School has occupied a prominent and prestigious position along with other Nursing Schools of Karnataka. 

A. Shama Rao Nursing School is well equipped with modern laboratories, library student amenities and infrastructure. We impart excellent technical knowledge through training and clinical practice. Special emphasis is on the overall development of the student, including the moral, psychological, intellectual and social aspects.  Our faculty comprises of expert & well qualified full time and part time teachers and non teaching staff. At present more than 170 students are undergoing nursing education in our institute with an annual intake of 60 students.
