Srinivas College of Hotel Management is committed to impart quality hospitality education to aspiring hotel professionals with an active interaction with the hotel industry and constantly upgrade the teaching methods and standards so as to develop the overall skills and ability of the schools to cope up with the needs of the hotel Industry.

Srinivas College of Hotel Management offers Bachelors Degree course in Hotel Management affiliated to Mangalore University and recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Why Hotel Management?
Tourism is the second fastest growing industry in India. India with its rich heritage, culture and natural beauty is an ideal tourist locale.  Today, the Government of India has realized the potential of tourism industry and is promoting India as a tourism destination aggressively. The contribution of Tourism to our economy is fast growing and Hotel and Hospitality Sector is an integral part of the Tourism Industry and hence the growth in Tourism will in turn develop the Hotel and Hospitality Sector and thereby creates wide variety of Job Opportunities. It has been pointed out time and again that the quality professions in the Hotel and Hospitality Sector are short in supply today and hence a Hotel Management degree can open wide opportunities to you to develop one of the best rewarding careers to you.

The job opportunities available to the graduates in the field of Hotel Management (BHM) include Steward, Chef, Management Trainee, Supervisor/ Captain, Manager, Catering Assistant, Camp Boss, Catering Manager, Operations Manager, Cabin Crew, Air Hostess, Ground Staff, Flight In-charge, Administrative Jobs, Air Cargo Officers, Training Instructor, Steward, Chef, Information Officer, Guest Service Associate, Destination Manager, Tour Coordinator, etc.

Course Details :

Course offered:  Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM)

Duration of the Course:  4 Years – Credit Based Semester Scheme spanning eight semesters

Eligibility: The candidates who have passed the two year Pre-University Examination (class XII or 10+2) in any general or vocational stream of Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board of the State of Karnataka or any other Board considered equivalent thereto by Mangalore University with a minimum of 50% (45% in the case of SC/ST) marks in aggregate are eligible to take admission for the course.
