This college has taught me to analyse, synthesize and evaluate situations and make sound decision .It has helped to be creative, innovative and to shape my personality not only to become a good professional but also a good human being. I am very thankful and proud to have such a motivating, supporting, and enthusiastic Principal and teaching staff that have taught me to carry myself through any up hills and challenges of life. Library with more than 40,000 titles and a well-furnished computer lab with more than 35 computers, what more could I ask for. To top it all, the icing on the cake is the campus interview of international chain hotels having recognition worldwide which got me more than 2 jobs in hand before completing my course. These beautiful college days will always remain evergreen in my memories. This holy institution is indeed an oasis, Trust me.

It was my dream to join hotel industry, so I landed up in this institute. I am glad to say this schm is one of the best institutes we’ve in India (I mean it). Srinivas college dose not teach only syllabus material but it also teaches us about discipline, culture, attitude which a hotel management Student should carry in his/her personality & the most important it moulds student into professional.

My faculty & principal were source of my energy & inspiration they brought me back when I was down. They taught me pain is a teacher and failure is a highway to success and they helped me to become better human being.

Time which I had spent in SCHM have become the most treasured days of my life, this college has given everything I wanted. Srinivas College of Hotel Management is an institution known for imparting quality and sustainable education. Right from day one, the faculty of the college strived hard to mould me to what I am today.  Their encouragement made me to take a long leap to attain the qualities what a professional should have in the management of hospitality industry.

Participation in various programs such as inter collegiate competitions, food festivals, theme dinners, vocational training at hotels of repute, etc., instilled me the leadership qualities and have hands on experience in handling demanding situations and learn the art of solving complicated issues with ease.

These programs always enriched my knowledge and paved way to be confident about my capabilities in the field in which I have to work and be successful.I am proud to say that I have been selected for placement through campus interviews by some of the best international properties for their projects in India viz. Hyatt, Radisson, Ramada.  This would not have been possible without the support and guidance of the teachers of the Srinivas College of Hotel Management; for which I am indebted to them.

I always miss my Almamator. I still remember the first day in this place, and I feel like it just happened 2 days before. During my 2nd year of +2 I saw the advertisement of this college on a daily newspaper and applied for a seat in its bachelor of hotel management course. I remember the day when I went with my dad to visit Anil sir in Kottayam and met two strangers there who later became my classmates and good friends forever. The hostel days during my first year are unforgettable. Because of those days I learned how to make friends, how to trust new people and how to eat those food which we cant even imagine dreaming about and how to adjust with five people in a single room and manage doing all our daily works smoothly. The first year went like that making each and every minute of it unforgettable and for that the credit goes to all my seniors who were staying in hostel. Then I became a senior in our college during my second year, started learning a lot because of the various food festivals and functions organized by the college and I started enjoying my work and loving it more than anything else. All the faculties helped me a lot by showing me the right way and helping me to decide a department in our hotel industry to specialize in and if am successful with all the campus placements conducted in the campus by various hotels its only because of them. When I was working for the college for different functions I was not actually helping the college for its benefit but I was learning things naturally which I didn’t realized at that time but helped me a lot during my trainings in hotels and also for getting various jobs. I will never forget this college because it made me sad, made me struggle, made me learn, gave me experience, gave me knowledge and at last gave me so much of happiness that I would have never got without these 4 years in this college. Now after a month or so when am going to pass out from this college I have a job in Hotel Hyatt, Ramada resort and spa, Marriott’s and in Hotel Chancerry. Am waiting for my university exams in which I have to score good marks and pass out from this college with flying colors.

I thank all my faculty members, friends, juniors and my well-wishers for helping me out pass this four years of BHM with lots and lots of memories which I will never be able to forget in my entire life.

If someone is looking for fun and wants to improve his or her knowledge for future career opportunities in hospitality, I recommend Srinivas College of Hotel Management.

The classes are very interactive and have taught me to build an argument and put my opinion forward. This college has taught me how to do a formal assignment, not just copy and paste information, but learn the materials and articulate my opinion and argument in an assignment.

What I liked best about this college was the friendly and helpful environment. You know all the Professors and most of the students. I also really liked the building infra structure and facilities in the classroom and workshops. The multicultural classes, with students coming from all over India just makes you feel at home making the environment more vibrant and lively.If my friends were behind in their studies, the Professor would contact them and see if they needed help and make sure they passed.

It’s amazing how the staff at Srinivas College of Hotel Management treat every one of their students as one of their own children; looking out for them at every stage, guiding them and making sure they are on the right track, making sure they are successful and most of all making sure that they manage to complete their pathway in the Hospitality industry as soon as possible.

Srinivas College of Hotel Management engages students in practicum opportunities which give them an opportunity to learn everything in reality and to apply what they have learned or read in books. Food festivals & Theme dinners with complete student involvement are awesome! In a year the college organizes atleast 5 such functions which helps us specializing in our field.

 After having done my Vocational training at the Quality Inn Residency and The Charans Club Resort, I am fully familiar with all the aspects of the hospitality industry. The practicum experience has given me the qualifications to help me in achieving my career goals."
