Mr.AshishJayes (IV BHM) has secured Individual Championship in District Level Sports Meet 2008-2009 organised by Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, D.K.District, at Mangala Stadium on 01.03.2009.

“RENDEZVOUS- 2010” – A National Level Inter Collegiate Competition was organized by Sarosh Institute of Hotel Administration, Mangalore on 07th September 2010. Our college team has bagged II place in the following categories. Mr.Punith Kumar, Mr.AshishShetty, Mr.RoysonD’Costa&Mr.NikhilG.Nayak won I place in Group Dance Competition. The team of Mr.Maxon Kevin Castelino - JAM(Just A Minute), Mr.Uchil Pratik - Mock Press and Mr.NagbushanShenoy - Oasis Quench secured II place.
In “SUGAR n SPICE 2010” - An All India Hospitality Competition’ organised by AJK College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. Our students Mr.Sanju Joy won II place in ‘MR.HOSPITALITY 2010’, Mr.Bopanna T.N. won II place in “NAPKIN FOLDING” , Mr.Arun P.S bagged III place in ‘CARVE AND CARVE’, Mr.Lesly Xavier &Mr.NagbushanShenoy won III place in BEST CHEF -‘2010’

The college was established in the year 1988.
The famous Food Festival “HOG” was started in the year 1992.
The college was approved by All India Council for Technical Education from the year 1994-1995.
Mr.Partheeban Theodore secured First Rank in Bachelors of Hotel Management (BHM) degree examinations conducted by Mangalore University in the year 1995.
The college moved to the 1.2 acres of sprawling campus at Pandeshwar, Mangalore in the academic year 1997-1998.
The college received permanent affiliation from Mangalore University in 1998-99.
Our college was covered by Zee TV-a national channel in its programme “Zaike Ka Safar” in 1998.
The college celebrated the Decennial function on 21st February 1999. Sri.Basavaraj Patil Attoor, the Honorable Minister for Higher Education, Govt. of Karnataka, was the chief guest.

Our college organized a National Level Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Tourism Sector” in association with AICTE, New Delhi in the year 2004.

An Ultra Modern Advance Kitchen with 10 cooking ranges was added to the Food Production Laboratory in 2005.
