  2. 20.10.2004: Inauguration of the college building by Mr. B.R.Shetty, CEO &  
    Managing Director, NMC Group, Abu Dhabi.
  3. Patel Arpithaben Rameshkumar received 6th Rank for the University in I year B.Pharm.
  4. 30.06.2009: Starting of first PG batch (Pharmacology).
  5. 02.02.2010: Inauguration of PG Pharmacology Lab by Dr. M.D. Karvekar, Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, RGUHS, Bangalore.

RECIEVED GRANTS

  • Dr. A.R. Shabaraya has been received seminar grant from RGUHS Bangalore, to organise National seminar on Advances in Medicinal Plant Research & Herbal Drug Technology on 20th February 2009.
  • Dr. A.R. Shabaraya has been awarded International travel grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore to present scientific paper in world Congress Pharmacy 2009 Istanbul, Turkey.  

Project grants from RGUHS 

  • Dr. E.V.S Subrahmanyam, Department of Chemistry “Synthesis, Anticancer & Antitubercular evaluation of some novel indazole derivatives”.

Ph.D. Awardee

Sri. U. Srinivasa, Associate Professor, Dept of Pharmacognosy, was awarded Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) by “ACHARYA NAGARJUNA UNIVERSITY” for his thesis entitled “Investigation of some selected medicinal plants’ extracts for possible biological activities”. He worked under the guidance of Dr. J. Venkateshwara Rao, Principal & Professor, Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, Warangal, Andrapradesh.

SEMINAR GRANT

  • Dr. A.R. Shabaraya has received a seminar grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Bangalore, to organise National seminar on Recent Developments in the Pharmacological Research Guidelines, Rules and Regulations on 24th & 25th May 2010.

RESEARCH GRANTS

  • Dr. Shirishkumar D. Ambavade and Ms. Padmashree Department of Pharmacology received project grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the project on “Evaluation of toxicological studies of Butylated Hydroxy Anisole”, for the year 2010-11.
  • Dr. A.R.Shabaraya and Mr. Viresh K.Chandur Department of Pharmaceutics received project grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the project on “Pharmaceutical studies of Drug Eluting stents using derivatized Bio-Degradable polymer blends”, for the year 2010-11.
  • Dr. E.V.S Subrahmanyam and Mr. Sushant S. Pande, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry received project grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the project on “Chemoselective reduction of nitrile group economic and green approach”, for the year 2010-11.
  • Mrs. Padmavathi P. Prabhu and Mr. Arvind Pai Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry received project grant from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore for the project ion “Synthesis and invivo antidiabetic activity studies of some Quinazolinones derivatives”, for the year 2010-11.
  • Dr. E.V.S. Subrahmanyam & Mr. Sushant Pande Dept. of Pharmaceutical chemistry received research grant under research Promotion Scheme (RPS) from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi during the financial year 2010-11 for the project entitled “Synthesis of Benzimidazolocoumarin Derivatives by Novel Methods & Evaluation for Anti-inflammatory & Anticancer activity”.

TRAVEL GRANT

    Dr. A.R. Shabaraya has received an International travel scholarship for the year 2010 from All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi for attending and presenting research paper in World Congress of Pharmacy in association with American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) at New Orleans, USA during 14th to 18th November 2010.
