Field Work Practicum and Research Projects
First two semesters Social Work Students will be placed in a variety of institutionalized Social Work Agencies. The students will have the opportunity to work directly with diverse community and organizational set up. Class room learning thus will be put into practice in their respective agencies and in open communities. Students are exposed to various activities like motivational and awareness camps, home visits, building rapport with government and non government agencies (NGO’s) etc.
Students are encouraged to Conduct Research in their areas of Specialization by using scientific techniques of Research Methodology and tools like Mean, Measures of Central Tendency and Correlation etc which facilitate the students to improve the logical thinking and knowledge in understanding the issues in the perfect frequency.
