Research can be defined as the search for knowledge or any systematic investigation to establish facts. Research has an important role to play in the present world. At Srinivas School of Business all the members of staff dedicate a fixed portion of their time on research activities. The research activities of the faculty are aimed towards acquiring knowledge that can be transferred to our students and make them more knowledgeable and competitive.

Srinivas School of Business also intends to introduce Doctoral Program in Management on both Full-time and Part-time basis to encourage research in the field of Management.

Doctoral Program in Management (Ph.D.) [Proposed]

A Research Committee consisting of senior faculty members and experts in various fields of Management research will guide the Doctoral Program in Management in SSB. The Committee will

Scrutinise the application for Ph.D guides and candidates who wish to enrol for the program and will review the progress of candidates. 

Guidelines

Srinivas School of Business will invite the applications from interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as set up by the Research Committee and will shortlist the candidates for research work.

The candidates are short-listed will be interviewed by the research committee. The short-listing is done to ensure a reasonable fitment between the candidates’ academic/research background and the programme’s expectations.

Post Doctorial Research Program [Proposed]

Srinivas School of Business also intends to encourage researchers through Post Doctoral Research Program (PDRP). The Post Doctoral Research Program will encourage research on the problems faced by small, medium and large businesses globally both in public and private sector. The Program will be of 2 year duration and the research fellows pursuing the PDRP will conduct academic research jointly with a faculty member in their area of interest.
