| Srinivas Institute of Technology started in the academic year 2006- 2007, is a unit of A. ShamaRao Foundation, Mangalore and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and recognized by the All India Councilfor Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institute is located at Srinivas Campus spread over 15 acres of land at Valachil, Arkula village about 15 Kms. from Mangalore city towards B C Road adjacent to NH 48. The college has been taken steps to develop campus as a Green Campus with an Eco-friendly environment. |

| Eligibility: |
| A pass in PUC or its equivalent examination with 45% marks aggregate with Physics &Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with the one of the following subjects – Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology and Electronics (40% for SC/ST & OBC) provided that the candidate shall have studied and passed in English as one of the subjects. |
