Seminar on Ragging Awareness and Prevention 2023

The anti-ragging committee of Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences, Mukka, Mangalore conducted a seminar on Ragging Awareness and Prevention titled Listen, Ragging is a crime on the 11th of February 2023. Prof. (Dr.) Suresh B.S., Member,Dental Council of India (DCI) and Principal, Subbiah Institute of Dental Sciences, Shivamoga was the resource person for the event. The program commenced with a prayer song and lighting of the auspicious lamp by the dignitaries. The Dean and HOD of department of Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry Prof. (Dr.) K. Reshma Pai, welcomed the gathering. Prof (Dr.) Praveen Shetty, nodal officer, Anti-ragging committee shed light on the anti-ragging policy of the college. Prof (Dr.) Hemanth, Head of the department of oral and maxillofacial pathology introduced the resource person. The resource person for the program Prof (Dr.) Suresh B.S., addressed the menace of ragging and highlighted the measures to be taken for prevention of the same. Dr. Deepa Shetty proposed the vote of thanks. Dr. Natasha and Dr. Renilda were the masters of ceremony for the program.
